Berglund Animal Hospital is among the 12 percent of animal care facilities in the nation certified by the American Animal Hospital Association. To achieve certification, our hospital passed comprehensive inspections of our veterinary practice, management, facilities and medical equipment. We are re-certified every 3 years.

Exams give a complete picture of your pet's health and are useful in detecting diseases and other health problems in the early stages, before they become more difficult and expensive to treat. The mainstay of our veterinary practice is keeping your pet healthy. We offer appropriate blood tests and vaccination protocols tailored to your pet's needs.

Pharmacy and therapeutic diets |

We maintain an inventory of most veterinary pharmaceutical products. We also stock a variety of veterinary prescription diets designed to help prevent or control specific medical conditions. If we don't stock a particular medication or prescription diet that your pet needs, we can special order it for you to arrive within a few business days. We also work closely with compounding and human pharmacies when needed.

We are proud to offer digital radiography and ultrasound, in-house labwork (chemistry panel, complete blood count, and urinalysis), and digital dental radiography. We work closely with Idexx laboratories to expand our diagnostic capabilities further. If more advanced imaging is needed, we are fortunate to have several veterinary specialty centers within a short distance.

Surgery and dentistry |

Our surgical suite provides for a wide variety of surgical procedures. All of our procedures are done on an outpatient basis, allowing your pet to be back home with you the same day. Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, digital dental radiography, dental extractions, and minor oral surgery. We also place an emphasis on preventative oral health. We are always available to discuss dental care for your pet.
